Privacy Notice
This notice explains the limited information currently collected by Monnieverse.
Information collected
When you join the landing list, we collect the email address you submit. When you vote, we store your selected color and a randomly generated browser identifier. If you actively opt in before beginning a transmission with Monnie, we store a separate randomly generated browser identifier and an approximate city-level location supplied by our hosting provider so the community globe can show where conversations are happening. The option is off by default. We do not store your IP address for this feature. Your chosen name, responses and journey progress remain locally on your device rather than in the Monnieverse database.
Orders and payment
Stripe processes payments and collects your checkout email, name, shipping details and selected Monnie and UFO colors. We use these to make and ship your order and provide support. Monnieverse stores the payment reference, selected colors, amount, payment confirmation time and confirmation-email status. Stripe handles card details; our site does not store them. Our email provider sends transactional confirmations and poster links to your checkout email. Order-status pages show only the bundle choices and payment amount, using the secure reference from your checkout.
How information is used
Email addresses are used for launch, preorder and Monnieverse updates. Vote information is used to measure community preferences. Local transmission data is used to provide the experience on your device. We do not sell personal information.
Storage and protection
Signup, vote and opted-in approximate location records are stored in the site’s protected database. Reasonable technical controls are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Access to production data is limited to authorized operation of Monnieverse.
Cookies and local storage
The site currently uses browser local storage for journey progress, vote selection, voting identifiers and your optional globe-sharing choice. Clearing browser data may remove local progress. The current story experience does not require an account.
Choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing messages using the link included in those messages. You may request access, correction or deletion by emailing service@coachmonarch.com with “Monnieverse Privacy” in the subject line. Legal rights may vary by location.
Children
Monnieverse does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this site. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us so it can be removed.
Updates
This notice will be revised when our data practices change.
